There is a very simple reason why you would want to fix problems with the Windows Registry: the fact that Registry problems lead to crashes, freezes, and performance loss. With the appropriately named RegistryCleanerKit you can scan your system (manually or based on a schedule), identify Registry issues, and then address them.

You can use RegistryCleanerKit on a PC powered by Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8. To get started with the application, you will have to go through a standard installation procedure: download an installer, run it, click through the instructions presented by a setup wizard. It is worth noting here that the wizard will ask to install some additions software. Make sure to decline if you just want RegistryCleanerKit and nothing more.

Three large tabs are presented at the top of the application’s interface:
Overview – scan results, LiveUpdate info, and an invitation to get other applications from the developer; they’re all presented here.
Registry – the results of the scan will be presented here; after removing Registry problems, a summary will be displayed here as well.
Manage – undo/restore changes done to your system, set a Registry ignore list, access the application’s settings.

The first thing you must do is scan the Windows Registry. By default, a scan is launched immediately after you open the application. You can also scan the Registry manually (run on-demand scans) or according to a schedule. Wait for the scan to complete, and you will be presented with a list of Registry problems. With a simple mouse click you can then fix all these problems. That is, in a nutshell, the functionality you can expect to get from RegistryCleanerKit.

Speaking about functionality, the trial version has limited functionality to offer: it will remove up to 15 Registry problems, it will not allow you to access the scheduler.

Fixing Registry problems will have a beneficial effect. With RegistryCleanerKit you can very easily clean the Registry.

Pros

A wizard will guide you through the installation process; thus you will quickly install RegistryCleanerKit on your PC. You will quickly figure out the interface. Run on-demand scans or schedule scans to be performed automatically. RegistryCleanerKit will find and fix Registry problems.

Cons

The trial will fix a maximum of 15 Registry issues and it will not allow you to access the scheduler. The setup wizard wants to install some extra software. Nag screen is displayed when you close the application.
